Strengthening Families Program

The Strengthening Families Program, for students in grades 5 through 8 and their parents, will be held at Crispus Attucks Community Center on Tuesdays from October 2 through November 13. Each session is from 5 to 8 p.m. and will provide students with effective ways to cope with the great demands in their lives, while parents learn parenting tools they can use to improve their relationships with their children. The Strengthening Families Program is provided by Crispus Attucks Community Center. Provided during the sessions are catered meals, on-site child care and transportation. Participants will also be eligible to receive weekly $15 Wal-Mart gift cards and prizes. To register, or for more information, call Sonya Cirilo at 394-6604 ext.134.
