Board Policies

Board Policies for the School District of Lancaster are currently under review. The Pennsylvania School Boards Association (PSBA) has been contracted to assist in the evaluation process.

Over the coming months draft policy revisions will be presented at regular monthly meetings to the Board of Directors for first readings, which is then followed by a 30-day period for public inspection and comment. The Board can approve draft policies at their next regularly scheduled monthly meeting following a first reading, but if significant changes are suggested by the Board and/or the public, another first reading and 30-day public comment period are required. Policies become effective immediately following Board approval.
