The School District of Lancaster had the opportunity to participate in Millersville University's Engage for Change: Equity & Justice in Education community forum, as part of their ongoing series aimed at addressing critical issues facing Pennsylvania and Lancaster County education.
From addressing systemic inequalities to promoting inclusive practices, the panelists explored various facets of equity and justice in education, shedding light on the importance of creating a level playing field for all learners. Their insights and perspectives offered invaluable guidance on how we can work together to dismantle barriers and cultivate a more equitable educational landscape.

School District of Lancaster’s @mccaskey_alumni_association announced the appointment of F. David Foulk as its new Director. A Lancaster native and a 1986 graduate of @mccaskeyhighschool, Faulk brings a wealth of experience in the non-profit sector and a deep-rooted commitment to the local community.
“I am deeply honored to take on this role and reconnect with the McCaskey community,” Foulk remarked upon his appointment. “McCaskey High School holds a special place in my heart, and I am eager to work collaboratively with fellow alumni to foster a strong and vibrant network.”
In his new role, Foulk aims to foster stronger connections among McCaskey alumni, engage them in supporting the school’s initiatives, and uphold the legacy of excellence that defines the McCaskey community. The McCaskey Alumni Association expresses its enthusiasm in welcoming David Foulk and looks forward to his leadership in strengthening ties within the McCaskey family!
