Staying Connected
What a day for the School District of Lancaster! We laced up our sneakers and joined over 3,000 community members for the YWCA Lancaster's Race Against Racism this weekend. Together, we ran not just for fitness but for a cause that resonates deeply with all of us — promoting equality and justice in our community.
As educators and advocates for young minds, we know the importance of leading by example. Participating in this race is one of the many ways we demonstrate our commitment to fostering an environment of inclusivity and respect within our schools and beyond.
Every step we took was a step towards a better future for our students and their families. Proceeds of this race goes to the Center for Racial and Gender Equity (CRGE) and the incredible work they do in education, training, advocacy, and initiating change.
Thank you to all the educators, students, and families who joined us today. Your enthusiasm and dedication inspire us every day. Let's continue to work together, advocating for a world where everyone, regardless of race or gender, is seen as equal, powerful, and unstoppable.
